4th Quarter 1st Assignment

Geometry- Page 316: S56-58,68, and 69. Explain briefly how to find the ratio of similarity for the perimeter, area, and volume between two figures.

Algebra II-By completing this assignment you main objective is to be able to identify the graphs of circles, ellipses, and hyperbolas as well as be able to graph them by looking at an equation.
1) Determine the standard form equation for a circle, ellipse, and more hyperbolas. Write them out.
2) What is a Foci and how does it factor into graphing ellipses and hyperbolas?
3) How do you find the asymptotes of these types of hyperbolas? Write the equation.
4) In the packet provided complete problems:
a. Page 579 #9-20
b. Page 586#7-9, 13-15, 25-28
c. Page 601 #7- 14 graph each equation
